    • a WA NHMRC Approved Administering Institution,

The first-named investigator (Chief Investigator A) on this application must meet all of the following requirements to be eligible to continue.

1.4 Does the CIA meet ALL of the following criteria:

  • A salaried staff member of the nominated Administering Institution at 1.1 and will be employed by that Institution for the period of the grant.
  • A resident in WA and be an Australian/New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have an appropriate work visa in place for the period of the grant.
  • Will physically reside in WA for a minimum of 80 per cent of the grant period.
  • Has no overdue reports for any Department of Health, Office of Medical Research and Innovation (OMRI), FHRI Fund, or THRF Group funding programs from any year (excludes authorised extensions).
  • Is submitting a maximum of one (1) application in this round as the CIA.
  • Holds the required qualifications and cumulative experience as outlined in section 3.5 of the Guidelines OR can demonstrate equivalency to those requirements in the CIA biosketch as part of this application.

The following eligibility criteria apply to ALL Chief Investigators named on the application (i.e. CIA through to CID)

1.5 Are any of the CIs named on this application (including CIA) named as a CI on more than two (2) applications in this round? * Required
1.6 Are any of the CIs from this application (including CIA) currently enrolled in a Higher Degree by Research? * Required
1.7 Does any of the named CIs have any outstanding obligations regarding previous THRF Group-funded projects, including submission of satisfactory reporting? * Required

  • mechanistic aetiology of disease/ill-health
